posted this on a liberal site... Stopped by in hopes I might have some respectful debate, Not sure thats something that happens here. However I will say this when you embrace or support and ideological view, its maybe a good thing to try to look at something how the other ideological view sees things simply so you can be sure you are on the right side of an issue. Also there is so much BS out there introduced to inflame people with not only bad info. , but things that are just not true. I work with owners of family owned eateries and they can not afford a raise in the minimum wage. What it does to them is they have to lay off some one and take the hours themselves. Also so many teens these days can not find jobs and its getting worse. Thinking simply by making a law to raise wages will not solve any of this. What will is job creation, if there are people looking for employees it will raise the wage. If folks looked back to 2005 2006 and 2007 you might remember seeing large chains like Mickey Ds and Burger King posting help wanted at 10.00 and in some places 12 dollars an hour.
