While he thought he was a comedian, the crew was forced to take all necessary precautions in the event it wasn’t a joke. Upon landing the flight attendant announced over the microphone: “It is going to look worse than it is. I am in the depth of my game. I’ve done this for 36 years. I think the man that has said this is an idiot and I will say this straight out.” With all of the fear about Ebola in air travel these days to make even the slightest joke on a plane about being sick and having just been in Africa is the equivalent of saying you were carrying a bomb in your carry-on bag. Idiot is an understatement. Within minutes, the plane was boarded by 4 personnel in hazmat suits.
