pretty dismal snow totals expected tomorrow... however this might be cool.. The high res models (SBU gfs-wrf shown here) have snow being enhanced by convergence over the Long Island sound and over the fetch which develops from Sandy Hook eastward. if this verifies, the immediate south shore and north shore as well as the east end would see the highest snow totals tomorrow. even then, I dont think totals will be much higher than an inch. especially with the wind still breezy and the snowflakes so powdery, it might be one of those cases where theres a dusting most everywhere except in the one corner of your yard where theres 2 inches piled up against the fence. dendrite.somas.stonybrook.edu/LI_WRF/loop.php?model=GFS&date=2015010512&field=refl_10cm&domain=d03
