publicity is the ambrosia of celebrity. many personas and ideologies gain social immortality because of the publics inability to shut up about them. if you dislike the behavior of some famous person/group/idea remain completely silent about them while speaking in support of those whom you like. as long as you are talking about someone or something your words can be twisted and given alternate meanings which favor those whom you speak against. something as simple as I hate ______ for doing xyx. can be used by ______ as a promotional tool to refer to you as a hater in the eyes of ______s supporters. silence is not always acceptance sometimes silence is disapproval. the type of disapproval that no amount of noise can combat against.
