pulled up my peanuts today in between rain. I figured if not, they would rot. they were not ready although they have peanuts all on them. I hope they dry out and not shrink and rot also because i pulled up too early! I threw them over some buckets until tomorrow. My tomatoes are starting to ROT, leaves all getting spotty and yukie all the rain. (thank god a few are covered) and I started 3 for inside which are going good out of heavy rain. Only thing that seems to like it is my melons, squash & leafy cabbage and lettuce ok. so far. The pickled cucumbers are growing fast now; but the leaves are starting to take a turn. But all the rain is killing all the salad cucumbers plants. I imagine all those potatoes and sweet potatoes i planted are now rotting in all this wet soil/sawdust. whaaaaaaa boohoo!. :(
