puppy update!! r shot; weighed in at 22 lbs. The vet gave o.k. for him to start puppy class and last night was his first night, with 4 other pups, all a little older. The others started last week so he was the new kid. He just watched the others play for about 20 minutes, then dove right in with gusto. He enjoyed it but was VERY tired when we got home. Other new actives: meeting kids at the skateboard park, trying out the water at Mirror Lake beach (Kitty demonstrated), meeting llamas, sheep, and other dogs at a friends farm. He has also discovered the rocking chair and has learned to shift his weight back and forth to make it rock; very cute. Housebreaking is a little inconsistent. It seems like he’s gotten the idea and always pees when we take him out, but doesn’t yet ask to go out. So there is an occasional accident if we don’t time it right. So he’s doing well. We had several giant storms rip through in the last few days and he was unfazed, unlike Kitty, who hides in the shower stall. We hope her fear of storms doesn’t transfer to him.
