RE: Beltline Scholarship Program -- closing date August 29 The Beltline scholarship in the amount of $1,000 is open to a qualifying student under the following criteria: • Advanced students enrolled in a Canadian education institution who propose undertaking accredited dissertations, theses, or projects that advance the urban character, urban interests, reputation, quality, diversity, urban culture, well being, social environment, economy, heritage, infrastructure, community, planning and development, urban forest, public realm, recreational opportunity, enjoyment and appreciation of uban life • Projects should be of compelling interest to the Beltline community district The student applicant should provide a brief letter explaining why they and their work is relevant to Beltline, urbanism, and either city building or urban culture development, as outlined in the above criteria. No more than a single short paragraph is required for the work product description. Please include a statement of where and in what program you are a student. Please provide contact particulars including email, phone number and valid mailing address. The closing date for the current Beltline award is noon August 29, 2014.
