questioning religious morality by ahmed khan............,........... its high tym to rethink over our beliefs..16 dec peshawar massacre has led many questions over the ethical self-righteous general mass belief in their religion ..but still a question of questions remained to be asked what were the causes behind the motivation of the taliban being carried by their own irrational will, exploited, behind the veil,by the people, in their own interests...wide condemnation is seen all over the country...will this massacre lead us to different and positive dimension or all be forgotten after the short expression of our emotions? does it will change the policy of the state against war on terror? above all who were behind the conduction of the incident? one thing is crystal clear such a big incident is not carried by a ignorant talib without being supported from a strategy building established class.what has been carried out definitely shows some motives which is known to non of every common citizen.what is known, is that, the incident is carried out in the name of the religion, every citizen feel religion was used as a tool, keeping religion sacred and safe not questioning it as the cause...history is evident of the bad consequences of religion-remember pakistan is made in the name of religion- since the inception of the state .what happens when a religion is questioned? instead of mourning for a week or expressing a sorrow let us be apostate for week and see the consequences after all we are experiencing the bad consequences while we have remained as religious ones.a week risk might not be a dangerous one.lets remove all the fear of being cursed by allah for a week ....our whole course of past history will be changed.....the fear of apostasy hinder us seeing other dimensions...intolerance is prevailing everywhere...challenging the religion and let criticize religion by everyone...if religion is for the good of the whole than why its consequences are bad for the whole..if the question is its application.what are the reasons behind its failure of being serviceable.can we question for a time being its inner nature as being impracticable to human life...due to the advancement of science how can we stick to scienceless 1400 years old system of thought which showed up very earlier the prescience of its demise right from the beginning as it was incompatible to the daily lives of people...as for the political goals are concerned it helped very healthily to the aristocrats, using the fear factor of it,being applied to the poor ignorant class.when fear comes rationality sneaks out through the window...and the religion has the fear factor the hinders the way...the need is to unfetter the rationality by pushing out the fear.and the fear is only to be removed when religion is forced out.
