racism in its true sense is faced by us north-easterners of india in our own country. ...really..its very sad and tiresome to try n prove our identity as indians to every other person we meet...our parents send us so far away from home just so that we have a better future. ..the emotional n financial pressure is overwhelming. ..However we are given such a hard time by the mainland indians that it drains us both physically and mentally n it takes us a very loooong time to adjust into our new environment which effects our overall educational performance n grades...we r stared at, passed comments at, mocked at, and most terrible of all...we r killed!!!...killed simply because we look different???...facing racism in our own country, for me, accounts as the height of racism and it is about time that strict action is taken against this...we are students who come to gain education in your states at our own expense...we dont steal from u nor do we beg u for anything. ..then y do u have to kill us...for Gods sake he was just a 19 yr old tiny little boy...y would 5-6 of u have to manhandle him and beat him to death....more than half of the student population in north-eastern states belong to mainland india...do we beat them to death??? NO!!!...WE LET THEM BE...SO LET US BE TOO!!! P.S.:...PROUD OF MY ORIENTAL FEATURES...PROUD TO BE A NORTH-EAST INDIAN!!!
