ran out of vegetables and had to run to my sabziwala [ ive fought with half of dem and d rest half hav fought with me....and he sells green peas too.....so hes virtually my only option...started with "ek kilo tamatar" ..den paused...asked "kitnaaa abhi? " and he smiled " 75 ka hai..aapko 70 me denge "....put my dignity to d side and said "adha kilo kardo".... started with my list and by the time id finished i was 15 rs over d budget , and still needed to get d green leaves for my birdies...put whatever self respect remained aside and cooed "tamatar ek paav kardo"....he gave me a stony look and yelled to his assistant.. "tamatar nikal bagwaaase !!!!"....returned home with everything on my list and 250 gm tomatoes.... if dis is gonna continue ill hav to give tomatoes instead of envelopes in weddings ... and make sure to save as much tomatoes as possible [atap] for my future sons and daughters!!!!!!!!!!!
