randomly came across something wonderful: It seems Toranmal region of the mighty Satpuda has a lake: Yaswant Talav, with a small temple of Gorakshanath..myth goes that during a drought Gorakshanath beseeched Narmada to share some of her waters for this region..Narmada, being a generous river agreed, on the condition that surplus waters be returned to her..Yashawant talav was thus formed and excess waters from this lake overflow through a small river Jharkal into the Narmada...i think most of the rivers would say this to us..to use only as much as we need and return the rest back to them..
