razoo/story/Bryant-S-Road-To-Recovery Bryants recovery Day 3 Well Bryant had a little better day today. His swelling over his right eye is less and he has managed to swallow his antibiotic capsule without gagging so it has been a good day! There was a lot of activity in the house today, and Bryant did really well when the workmen came to fix the AC. He was not very happy that they were here, didnt growl or anything, but did come to me and kind of cowered by my side. So I held him for awhile until I could feel him relax and he was better with them after that. He would not go up to them or anything, but he was able to rest on his little bed while they here. He is eating a little more of his watered down puppy food, and I have been giving him canned chicken as well. I got a good look into his mouth tonight and it is not very pretty. The photo shows the empty spots where the teeth should be, and the paleness of his gums from malnutrition and anemia. Also the redness of the infection that is cooking under the skin. His skin is not as hot as it has been and I am hoping that the infection is starting to be overcome by the antibiotics. Overall, we are making progress! Thank you all for caring!
