re: Comps scores. Good news or bad news?? Haha. I’m torn right now between wanting to kick myself, and rejoicing over how close I am!!! I was able to get to my feedback. 3 of my 4 questions passed, so I only have to redo one question. Furthermore, on that one question, 3 of the 4 requirements passed. So, yea… one specific point I kept overthinking is precisely why I didn’t pass. The requirement was to “provide justification for why your chosen design and methods are more appropriate for your research question than alternatives you have considered.” I almost used my textbooks from my research methodology courses to answer the question. But then, the overthinking started and I thought that, being a comprehensive exam, I should write the response from my own knowledge. SO, that is the portion of the question I have to redo, because I didn’t cite my research methodology course texts. So, while a passing score would have been better, I am THISCLOSE!!! thanks for the messages of support!!!
