re: PNoys speech. The speech was about how they did not break the rule of law (underspending, in good faith, Administrative Code) and telling the SC to reconsider. The threat of a constitutional crisis is hyperbole, what he said to the SC is just rethoric aimed at the public, and both sides (SC and PNoy) know it. Unless he actually pulls the trigger and starts firing justices, the threat of a crisis is just hype. What PNoy was trying to avoid though was adding more fuel to his impeachment case. Him conceding to the SC would allow an opening for the opposition: umamin na pala siya eh, eh di impeach na yan. Instead what the opposition got was a weak argument: uy, hindi siya agree sa SC, constitutional crisis!
