re-posting as now he is actually for sale. (this ad is just copy and pasted from his actual ad, so apologies for the essay) For sale: Frankie is a 16.2hh, 8yo TB. Very lightly raced, but has been off the track for at least 4 years. He is not your typical thoroughbred in either looks or nature. He will make a wonderful partner for someone looking to pursue dressage, and enjoy it while theyre at it! He has relaxed, elastic paces which are always complimented by judges, and boasts a big canter. Frankie has years worth of experience in going to competitions and clinics, often coming home with ribbons! Currently competing prelim dressage, consistently scoring over 60% - up to 65% with little to no preparation. Has previously competed to novice, and will compete at this level again in the new year if not sold prior. I have taken him hacking twice in the novice ring with good results, but have been told he would be more suited to and achieve wonderful results in the hunter ring. Well behaved at comps - leave him tied to the float all day and dont need to stress about how he is. He self loads onto both angle and straight load floats fuss free. He has also previously evented up to pre novice, and competed in straight showjumping up to 115cm. This however, is not his forte - and ultimately the only reason he is for sale so not suitable for a jumping home. He is the type of horse you can leave for months, and get back on and go for a canter on a loose rein, or throw a 5 year old on for an off the rein pony ride. Naturally a chunky horse who is always mistaken for a clydie/warmblood cross. Frankie is a pleasure to handle in every way by all types of people, he is up to date with all shoeing, dentistry, worming and vaccinations (including Hendra). EA registered. I would love to see him enjoyed by someone who is looking for their new best friend - he has a puppy dog personality and absolutely loves attention. Heartbreaking sale - If he enjoyed jumping more than he does, I would never even consider selling him, but my priority is always his happiness.
