The caves and cliffs of this location have the most extensive rock art of Asia, painted from earliest times through Mesolithic up to Early Historic, and proves that the Dravidian culture that led the Indian subcontinent until the Aryan invasion had a culture involving hunting cattle, music with drums and dance, ritual or medicine, and worshipped Shiva and Ganesh--that these last two are gods of the pre-Aryan culture of India.
