really disappointed in US healthcare today! whether hospitals set strong protocols or not, as a healthcare worker i definitely know that we were taught to follow universal precautions. clearly this was neglected and I dont think people understand how important infection control is until its happening to them or a loved one. its ebola today and in the past it was sars and smallpox and plague! how do people not learn?! i see this all the time within the hospital and it really disgusts me that people can be so negligent and wreckless around immunocompromised patients. anyways, just my little rant for the day.. carry on and remember to wash your hands or youll probably die.
