s hate list today adds the time of year that invariably reminds me of my biggest professional misstep since joining the ranks of the ink-stained in 91 ... lets just say I got carried away with the number 11, was harangued (and justifiably so) by a series of veterans at the time and have never been allowed to forget it over the ensuing 20 years by those who recall one of the dumber Remembrance Day ledes every written by a guy with history typed in bold on his UVic degree; also added today the legion of chimps who fire off letters to editors/emails to reporters and assignment desks with ill-informed nonsense based on their inability to comprehend simple English words and phrases ... it boggles the mind how some people interpret straightforward info
