s weekend update- So... my husband tells me that we have 3 parties to go to on Saturday night... (sorryyyy waaaaaaat???? 3 parties?? वो भी 1 night mein?!) The expression on my face is exactly what Amir Khan had in PK wen he spotted the dancing car for the 1st time!! (Big big eyes, ears bobbing out like an Elf...with an OMG look plastered on the forehead) Before I ask him any further, he tells me that ALL 3 parties are unavoidable! (Great!!!) :-/ So, I mentally prepare myself... & start the usual Saturday night drill- picking an outfit, deciding on a look, heels, see-through leggings, hair (the hardest part. ..since I have curly/noodly hair!!) 45mins...& Voila! Im all set! Hubby looks at me, flashes his pearly smile & says -Baby you look so... (Hot? Pretty? Round? Underdressed? Dull? Fat?) English!! Oh well..yeah maybe I do..a bit..but wat d heck, I like wat I see in the mirror, so m happy! :) We finally set out for our party marathon at 8:45 pm... braving the icy-cold wind ...3 super hosts, 3 gorgeously done up homes, Monkey Shoulder, Lagavulin, home-made Burrah Kebab, Tahini, Purple-cured-khatti mooli, Babaganoush, Vegetable bruchetta, rubbing shoulders with dozens of new faces...discussing a host of things from Sunny Leone to San Paolo.. from Obama to Orissa... from Calcutta to Cats...we had a crazzzzzyy night! We finally stagger back home at 4:30 am looking like the zombies in Go Goa Gone...crossing our milk-man whos just delivered his packets to our block... ~The highlight of the evening~ My friends Dad looked at me & said -Beta, आप itney gorey kaise ho? Me being me...in my ever-so-candid self reply-Uncle, kuch toh natutal skin tone hai...aur kuch make-up!!!! Uncle starts laughing! My husband says -Nahi Uncle, iska natural color hi yeh hai... gori chitti hai!!! This is when I had my awwwwwwwww moment of the day!! #PartyHopping #AmazingFriends #7hrs3drinksWow #4Degrees
