Tendulkars knock and his superb 3rd wicket stand worth 127 runs for the 3rd wicket helped India set up an imposing 296 on the board. Tendulkars knock included 11 fours and 2 sixes. While the target was easily out of Sri Lankas reach, they did manage to get past the score needed to help them qualify through to the finals, and in the process knocked India out of contention.
