Nowadays, the youth does not like to go out into the streets and is also battling depression! Imagine you lost a love one due to a shooting? All you have is your mother that can barely pay ends meet? The 1st few sessions that Im with the youth, I do my best to see he likes to do for fun! The youth likes to play dominoes, so dominoes we played! While we played the game of dominoes, I ask questions about his interest in life! (Video games, sports, movies, etc.) Remember, people love to talk about themselves! So your job is to listen to them!
