saw my orthopaedic surgeon today and got bad news, my left knee patella is fragmented, the same knee I had surgery on in Feb, he said the only thing he could do for me would be to go in and take out everything out and fuse my leg together and I would no longer be able to bend it, etc.... he said I will never be able to just walk around the block again, that the only exercise I can do is water aerobics or swimming, walking in the water and unfortunately, I do not have access to a pool, I am sad........while I was there, I also had to have a shot in my right hip because I have bursitis in it, he said I would more than likely have to be on pain meds the rest of my life, which I just started going to a pain clinic last week and the rx they gave does not help at all but they said I still have to try it for one whole month before they will try another one, seems so unfair but I guess I am just in a bad mood right now and needed to vent, thank you fb friends and family for listening..... I am grateful for all of you who care..
