Cracks may seem to be threatening but these are not structural deficiencies and mostly just aesthetics. CIT University buildings are structurally stable after the inspection made by structural engineers. If you have apprehensions, feel free to ask for guidance. 2.) Stay away from sharp and falling objects. Stay away from glass windows and doors. Always have the presence of mind. 3.) In case of an aftershock, stay where you are and be calm. 4.) In case of an aftershock longer than 10 seconds or an earthquake, proceed immediately to the nearest evacuation area. 5.) Dont make an earthquake joke or instill fear on those who still have trauma on what happened. It might cause panic. 6.) Dont panic since it can result to stampede.
