scary situation in uk plc,with our national debt hitting over a trillion pounds or dollars and last labour chancellor alaister darling said the ountry and world was near collapse financially and economically after lehman bros collapsed and there was a run on northern rock bank,an it was only two hours from global collapse like the 1930s or worse.indeed,labour minister liam byrne left a note for the new government that there was no money left in the kitty.hence,what can one tell ones studnets who might be studying economics or busssiness study or folks who have mortgaed thier homes to the hilt to pay fees for thier sons,daughters in cases where the future looks bleak as confidence,trust is at a low ebb in big companies,bosses when folks life savings are at stake and future may be in jeopardy when once bank of england was known as lender of last resort and sterling was as good as gold.hence,what does it do for our credibility abroad with libor rigging,mis selling of pensions, credit card protections etc and bankers bonues of failing banks.hence,wasnt ghandi right when he said that there is enough for everone in the world as far as food,money and shelter is concerned but not greed of the phew.when scandal broke after mohammed fayed of harrods flagged cash for question with niel hamilton,many thought that parliament would be cleaned up but many would ask and ponder,how long is a piece of string and when will public feel re assured that politics,government,banks etc etc hve been cleansed top down and people feel confidence as else we are jeopardising our childrens childrens prospects,future unless of course,one is a millionaire or billionaire etc.sad episode regardless of race,religion,class or colour or political affliation in the country if one were to look back over 30 or 40 years
