The Chicago Bears started the season 3-0 but since then they have lost their last two games. The Bears have slipped into second place in the NFC North and offensively they are averaging 29 points and 368.6 yards per game. Jay Cutler has completed 65.7 percent of his passes with 10 touchdowns and six interceptions and he has been sacked nine times. Matt Forte is averaging 4.6 yards per carry with three touchdowns and he has caught 27 passes out of the backfield. Brandon Marshall leads the Bears’ receivers with 31 catches and three touchdowns, Alshon Jeffery has 28 catches and two touchdowns, and Martellus Bennett has 25 catches and three touchdowns. Defensively Chicago is allowing 28 points and 376.6 yards with six interceptions, eight sacks, and 11 fumble recoveries. Lance Briggs has 51 tackles, Major Wright has 34 tackles, and James Anderson has 31 tackles. The Bears need to stop the bleeding and they host the Redskins next week. After playing five games the New York Giants have yet to win as they enter this game at 0-5. The Giants have the30th ranked scoring offense in the NFL averaging 16.4 points per game and 337 yards. Eli Manning has completed just 53.7 percent of his passes with eight touchdowns and 12 interceptions while being sacked 15 times. David Wilson is averaging just 3,3 yards per carry with a touchdown and Brandon Jacobs is averaging 2.2 yards per carry. Victor Cruz in the Giants leading receiver with 31 catches and four touchdowns, Hakeem Nicks has 21 catches, and Brandon Myers has 18 catches. Defensively the Giants allow a NFL worst 36.4 points and a 26th ranked 395.2 yards per game with four interceptions, five sacks, and three fumble recoveries. Ryan Mundy has 41 tackles, Spencer Paysinger has 33 tackles, and Prince Amukamara and Mark Herzlich each have 26 tackles. The Giants are simply struggling in every area right now. Chicago is 1-3-1 against the spread following a loss, 1-4-1 against the spread in their last six games, and 0-4 against the spread against the NFC. New York is 7-3-2 against the spread following a double digit home loss, 1-4 against the spread against the NFC, and 0-7 against the spread in their last seven road games.
