se·nior·i·tis \ˌsē-nyər-ˈī-təs\noun : an ebbing of motivation and effort by school seniors as evidenced by tardiness, absences, and lower grades. Believe it or not there is such a condition. Seniority is usually synonymous to retireable which is not such a bad adjective if one had a plan for geriatricity. For musicians though, senioritis is virtually nonexistent. Our quest for the better gig has no end. For as long as I have a message to impart through music, I will never be afflicted with senioritis. Looking for those who may want to listen is another matter altogether. That condition or the fear of it may as well be labelled mosquito-phobia. (Kapag nilalangaw ang concerts mo).
