As I was preparing myself for what lie ahead, I walked into a room where a quote from a woman was painted on the wall. Her name was Alice Sandstrom. An AmeriCorps member had felt that her words were inspirational enough to be hand painted on said wall. Ive yet to meet another family member whose footsteps that I directly follow in (let alone, a Sandstrom...our last name is not a common one). Naturally, I researched her further. ...Ive never been prouder to share an individuals initials. A. Sandstrom :)
