seeing alot of stuff about tracy morgan and i wish him the best. dont rush to judge the truck driver though. truck drivers nationwide are held to supreme standards sometimes spending weeks away from home and pushed to the extreme limits of DOT regulations and most times beyond to reach an unrealistic deadline. most of these guys are paid by the mile which means if wheels are not turning the driver is not making any money. a good nights rest and a hot shower are sometimes very hard to come by as drivers try to pack as many miles as possible in 11 hours. if they are stuck in traffic for several hours which happens frequently in metropolitan areas they might make less than a dollar an hr. DOT is now trying to limit driving time to 8 to 8 1/2 hrs to limit accidents. this is a big mistake as most drivers will take drastic cuts in wages further limiting their ability to provide for families.
