sees what is happening to The Bridge School, and then sees the prices to watch Neil Young on his latest tour. And its terrible. His family is worth millions, yes, and yet that is not the problem (at least not in this case); being rich is not a crime. We would all love to be rich. The issue here is a multi-billion dollar promoter keeping for themselves millions from the benefits; money that rightfully belongs to Bridge. And this promoter in turn has been promoting for eleven years a gigantic false facade: causing concert goers and even Shoreline Amphitheatre employees to believe that most of the ticket money goes to Bridge; that 100% of the musical artists perform for free. That Live Nation has and is not using disabled human beings as a cop-out for Godless behavior. The naive belief that Live Nation cares. The issue here is not about the wealth of Neil Young and his family. The issue here is about principles. If Live Nation is allowing him to be rich, why are they knowingly allowing Bridge to scrape by? Its a total contradiction, and its totally scary. And why is the non-profits board refusing to acknowledge that this is happening, yet alone do anything about it? Is a combination of ego and pride standing in the way of the long-term survival of The Bridge School? Why do they refuse to go private or switch promoters?
