sermon notes from yesterday...(substitute the word movement with passion, liberation, or salvation) 1. are we requiring our actions to travel the paths our words create? entirely? with integrity? when no one is watching? when the whistleblowers arent nearby? are our words complete thoughts (or lead to such an end?) have we checked in with our bodies to ensure they are mature enough to complete the work we speak of? 2. if youre too important to do the lowly job, then youre too good for the movement 3. if you only want positions with titles, then you arent about the heart of the work. 4. if youre just serving out of obligation, we dont need you. 5. the movement needs no slaves, no begrudging laborers 6. our movement is powerful. we cant speak of it docilely or as if our cause is some delicate thing to be spoken of gently or widely susceptible to being overlooked. i went to war last night.
