she is entering a narrative of liberating herself from the oppressed or box ticking however her opinion is her own and it is very dangerous as she is talking in a generalised sense in which alot of people who have little understanding of the whole story will take this and use as an argument of stopping the gravy train as she put it. we are all different as Aboriginal people and define our identity very differently. the problem with this article is that she has purely focused on her own experience and not respected the diverse experiences, situations and scenarios of a diverse people. I am going to read this a few more times before i make official judgement i think.
