since shadow loves to chase shadows and lights across walls, I saw a cat toy in a catalog that I assumed she would love. it is a small mat w/ dragonflies on it. you press on it and they light up and flicker all over the mat. I thought she would go crazy chasing them. it got under the couch when it was shifted and I rediscovered it today fishing underneath for balls w/ a yardstick. I activated it and she sat there and politely watched the bug lights move. callie appeared and also watch it w/out moving. if you do not keep touching it, it stops. I restarted it w/ the end of the yardstick. they sat watching. I started it once more and began to walk away. shadow began chasing after me to ~~~~ try and catch the end of the yardstick. looool! that was $20 wasted. maybe when the room is dark, it will have more allure. if not I have a free toy for someone.
