sitting here so very early this morning, wishing that i could have slept at least one more hour. with coffee cup in hand, ive been thinking about this year. hard to believe that it began with a bang - my daughter Krista Duncan getting married January 2. all the intensity of the renovations of the kitchen at The Window, Inc. and the changes and increase of responsibility that ensued from that fiasco. the incredible delight of becoming a grandma and wrapping my mind around the reality that yes, i am that old. realizing that Holy Spirit has become my dearest and closest confidant this year. becoming confident in the knowledge of His Presence being with me in every breath that i take. learning to rest in His Hugeness and being humbled by His incredible love and being overwhelmed in the vastness of His grace. life changes are difficult for me - i grieve what was and will never be again. then i grab a hold of the new future and turn my face forward and make new adventures and new memories. the realization that my life is fragile and only a breath away from meeting my Lover, Savior, Redeemer face to face is something that helps to keep in perspective that this life and all its troubles is temporary and i get lost in His Beauty. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL THAT I LOVE AND CALL FRIEND! may His beauty become a reality in your life this next year. thank you for being a part of my musings this morning.
