small world.... been living at a home in Sahali for the past 9 months. was spontaneously invited to a Sun Peaks event Saturday. jumped at the chance. coincidentally, turns out Dick and Terry (parents of bryn - killed by a drunk driver; bryn was only 24) - are literally my next door neighbours in Sahali !!! First sign of its kind -- a dont drink and drive sign at sun peaks. they put on a fantastic event - a great cause - and touching. what a small world. fundraising goes to kids who cant afford to go skiing ... (video here) and, the other lesson is - you never know who youre neighbours or what theyve gone through. always be kind.
