Abusive assholes are my problem, Mr. Manning, and someone has been abusing that man in there. Jareth gave a resigned laugh. Yeah, that was my thought too, when I met him, but Ive been watching him for two weeks now, and he really is that clumsy sometimes. Ive seen him walk into door knobs, desks, trash cans, chairs, and trip over absolutely nothing but thin air. You would never believe how relieved I was to find out that the man doesnt drive. Can you imagine the menace hed be? Jareth shook his head. Its like the Absent-minded Professor is his role-model. The nurse raised her eyebrows in disbelief. Really? Another nurse joined them. Its true. Dr. McGregor is in here at least every few months, because of accidents. She looked at Jareth. You must be new. I havent seen you escorting the Doc before. Im the new head of security. Jareth shook the womans hand, introducing himself properly. The first nurse began to relax. What did he do this time? The second nurse asked, affectionately. Jareth shook his head. This time wasnt an accident, Im afraid. He was attacked when he came in this morning. Thats all I can tell you about it right now, Im sorry. Now the second nurse looked angry, and the first one got angry again. The second one spoke up. Who would hurt Dr. McGregor? Hes the sweetest young man. A bit clueless socially, yeah, but hes not a mean-spirited person at all. Jareth didnt answer. He couldnt really discuss the matter. A man in scrubs arrived, wearing a badge that proclaimed him one of the ER doctors. Are you here with Dr. McGregor?
