so I had a big announcement to make about aar Looks like we will be closing, I hoped that wed do well enough at warped tour to save the space, but unfortunately a lot of people I was counting on bailed and didnt really help out. Im not a quitter though, so here is what is gonna happen From now on if your band is based out of MA/RI and you are playing here we will send you 10 tickets(or more if youd like) for your show, whatever you sell you can keep 50% of it. The space has gone a year without pushing the idea of bands selling tickets, the bands do not have to sell them, but we will not be booking bands that dont draw anymore. The space costs about $50 a day to stay open, and wasting electric so bands can practice or play to themselves is no longer an option. The space is currently around $3k behind on bills(rent/electric/loan payment). The electric could be shut off on us as early as the 16th. Right now I have over $30k debt all of it going towards opening and keeping this space open, I have given up my cell phone, my car, my shoes are over 2 years old, etc, etc, I can no longer borrow any more money. Think about that next time you say you cant afford to drive for a show here, or spend $7 to see a band you never heard of that could help your band play a show out of state. These touring bands, could be your band someday, think about that when you decide they arent worth checking out. The main goal of this space is to help local and touring bands make connections, while giving them a place they can play no matter what. There is so much more I can say, but Im exhausted and defeated. Please spread the word about our fundraising page gofundme/allaboutrecords if you dont want donate you can order some merch for your band from us facebook/allaboutmerch or buy some of our merch at https://etsy/shop/allaboutrecords or buy music here allaboutrecords.bandcamp or just donate directly using paypal to allaboutrecords@aol
