so I wake up this fine Monday morning, drinking a coffee and reading up of the sports news over the weekend. I cant help but think are we been a little harsh on Wenger? Yes hes a pain in the ass, and we havent won anything in a wee while. But if you look at it from a trophy perspective for 2014, I know we havent one the FA Cup yet but lets speak hypothetically we have just for 5 mins. And we will also speculate that Liverpool win the Premier League. That leaves Chelsea, Man City, Tottenham and Man United without winning a trophy this year. This is obviously under the presumption that Cheslea get spanked in the champions league. In your opinion would you class the 2014 season a triumph for Arsenal if the above predictions come off? Do you think Wenger has done enough to warrant an extra term in charge? Do you think we have a good plat form as a team to build and be actual title contenders next year and not fall by the wayside like we have done for the past decade. My opinion is that Wenger is a chump sometimes but deep down I like the gangly old professor. I mean Einstein was nuts and everyone loved him right? I myself would be over the moon with an FA Cup win this year. Seeing another team win the premier league would be amazing. And having both the big financial muscle aka Chelsea and City missing out on trophies, for me would be the icing on the cake. Yes its a shame we couldnt grow some balls with the prem league, but we showed some stallion sized testicles in the champions league for a second year running and in my opinion only just missed out against ze Germans due to some hard luck and bad decisions from the ref. To some up my Monday morning rant, I truly believe Wenger has gone a little crazy and think its high time for a change, but and its a big but could it get worse if he does move on, like United or Tottenham worse? Thoughts are welcome. Peace Out!
