so, a few people have asked about this ridiculous machine, figured id stick it here -- its a phase change system, which is a cooling method by which you can achieve amazingly low temps. Im running a core i7 3930k at 1.4v, and 5.0ghz is no problem at all. 4.85 is my everyday, and CPU never goes any higher than -28*c. the catch, is that with temps this cold, you risk condensation, which needless to say is a terrible thing. so underneath this beast of a hose which essentially carries compressed frozen gasses straight to the CPU, Ive padded the entire mobo with kneaded eraser. no air, no condensation. works like a charm. was going to put everything else under water, but not gonna lie, this thing isnt quiet. imagine a mini-fridge. so, i am raging along, and just thought you guys might be interested! fun project, lots of troubleshooting, but science ftw!
