so after a very long day, i am finally home and just before coming home we stopped off to see Josh Brant Angie Lee Brant and of course Lucas, i was feeling tired and couldnt wait to get home and slightly overwhelmed from my day and then i got to share in some one on one time with this little guy, with as tired as i was feeling i could see all over Luke that he to was very tired and for reasons i truly can not understand but as i stood there with him and his parents i was over joyed to know that i was able to spend this night with him. Just standing there with Lucas gave me some much needed strength and seeing his smile and listening to him tell us what a great time he had in his own little words meant the world to me. Lucas i will never forget that moment simply because you taught me something without even knowing it. Smile thru everything and know it is always going to get better. I feel a sence of love for a little guy that until tonight i never really knew. Luke you make me very proud to call you my newest friend. To everyone else that came out tonight Thank you so much for sharing in this time with us. Together we showed this family what a true community can do when we pull together., Josh and Ang both were very happy with tonight and couldnt believe the amount of support they received from their community. So go ahead and give yourselves a pat on the back and know that we all contributed to making Lukes night a huge success. We raised tonight $752. that was split evenly between both Josh and Ang and I know that it will take a lot more then that to get thru the next few weeks but we all had a beautiful part in helping out Luke and his parents.
