so after leaving my OB appointment yesterday I was feeling a little discouraged about attempting a VBAC. I am zero cm and not effaced at all. he is measuring about 6 lbs 13 oz and even though my first was thought to be big, she was only 6 lb 7 oz. it sounds like they are skeptical at this point that I will have a successful VBAC.so after leaving I called the office back to ask them if the doctor was feeling that I needed to be scheduling a c-section just to be safe. the nurse called me back saying they are at this point recommending a repeat section and to not attempt a VBAC. this make me really sad because I wanted more than anything to have a natural birth and not to have to recover from a section again with all of the doctor appointments that follow Claytons birth. the doctors said they will re evaluate this decision at my next appointment coming up on Monday. all my doctors know I am really trying to have a successful delivery so I am in need of a lot of prayers right now! this could very well be my last baby and recovering last time was extremely difficult. I am hoping they reevaluate me and decide it is still safe to attempt a trial labor. pleased share Claytons pagr to spread the word about bilateral club feet and for women attempting successful VBACS. the more prayer warriors the better! as of right now the repeat c-section reschedule for 11/29 the day after thanksgiving. at 830 am. so in that case its only 17 days away.
