so after spending roughly 30 hours this weekend at uvic, learning, and discussing issues related to pipeline projects. i have walked out with more feelings than i thought i had...listening and participating in group events with settlers, and indigenous people(some of which on the frontlines) about opression, respect, the warrior will, and the natural law, amongst many other workshops that were very informative, inspiring, and reassuring. i will be supporting the unis-tot-en camps in may to help in whatever way i can. I am doing this, for my spirit tells me i need to be re connect more to the greater spirit and help mother earth, help myself, and the tribe. im going to stand up like a mountain, and not give into their hate, im going to stand up for what i believe, before its too late. i will be funding money this month for their current projects of building permaculture and bunkhouses in the direct path of the pipelines on first nations land, so if anybody feels strongly against these goddamn pipelines and wants to help the resistance without being there in the flesh, you can approach me with a cash/coin donation. thankyou all, and stay strong.
