so apparently muslims are building a giant mosque in lower manhattan a few blocks from "ground zero" (the 9/11 attacks). both obama and bloomberg support it. here is an excerpt from wikipedia: "President Barack Obama acknowledged the right of Muslims to build the Islamic center. Obama said, "Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country. And that includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances."[148][149] New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg strongly endorsed the project, saying that Ground Zero was a "very appropriate place" for a mosque, because it "tells the world" that the U.S. has freedom of religion for everyone.[150] Responding to opposition, he said: The government should never, never be in the business of telling people how they should pray, or where they can pray. We want to make sure that everybody from around the world feels comfortable coming here, living here, and praying the way they want to pray." yeah, they totally show us christians the same respect. telling us that homeschooling is not a right, telling us that we should be "tollerant of other lifestyles, and threatening our christian military members with being court marshalled for spreading the gospel. these 2 are so full of crap... I cant wait till these two get impeached/fired... bloomberg, ur one to talk about "the governments business." you keep spreading your anti-liberty/conservatives bs.
