The evening presentation is described by Kumu Hoku as the chants and stories that have been left to us by our ancestors are more than creative creations of the native mind. They are a record of a peopleʻs myth and a chronicle of a peopleʻs genealogy. These stories have survived hundreds of years and still declare to all who we are.
