so crazy cat ( you know the siameese that we adopted a year or so ago ... the one that slashed angelas palm with her back claws ) anyway so " MITTS " comes up to me tonight and keeps head bumping my leg , if I understand her at all this means she has an itch that she cant get at herself , usually on the back of her neck or the top of her head ,, so I start to scratch and she is just covered in dirt , unusual for her , as she is typically a clean cat ,,, but I have seen this before , she has very fine , very thick fur , so I start to scratch her ... and I am finding ... sand ... bits of grass ... tiny little twigs , and then she hops up in my lap ... and I find this lump ... I am thinking ... tick ... big tick ... so as I work it up and out from her thick fur , she is grabbing my hand ( no claws )... and what does it turn out to be ??? ... a snail ... a freaking , tiny , garden snail ,,,,, as soon as I found it , and removed it , she looks straight at me , squints , and a short little purr , ( she almost never purrs ) and then she hops down ... she is a crazy cat
