so, i am at the deland library, right? somewhere around that what i think is a catholic church, down town deland is a Jamican restaurant. I looked it up on the internet, and i couldnt locate it. But, i knew it was around there somewhere, ive been there before, with a buddy of mine. so, i ask the librarian, is there a Jamican restaurant some were around here? in a few seconds, through some type of library magic she found that place on the internet. she wrote the address. i pulled up a map of the place, but i think i miss read it, because i am walking the wrong way down a hood street. with a rather heavy backpack, and a hot polo shirt. i find this bodega, and go inside. there was few people in line. i waited till the right moment, slid in front of like 5 people, and asked the guy where it was. he didnt know where it was. this African American gentleman knew of the place in question. it was on the other side of woodland. i sweated much as i walked there, i knew what i wanted. i walk a few blocks, i was there. chicken jerk & rice, please. it was good, but authentic stuff is better. there must be something in the air over there.
