so i guess, according to an article ive been seeing pop up in a few different places now, the math guys have figured its possible to get to and beyond the speed of light, not only that but they have reduced the once unimaginable energy requirements down to something around the yearly output of jupiter which, while still an insane amount of energy, but if tech continues on the pace that its at is a reachable energy level within a couple of hundred years...we have the math as evidence i guess now, ole Gene Roddenberry can be said to have predicted warp drive as the method the egg heads are using is not exact but surprisingly similar to the star trek warp drive
