so if cultivation of the heart towards faith and faithfulness is laid aside for a year, are the forthcoming results really that much of a surprise? to explore rational answers is good and healthy but faith is more than having rational answers to good questions. there will, no doubt, be a book forthcoming. my real question is this: how does a person get the position he was in - no doubt highly educated - and not already explore these questions in great personal detail? has education (seminary or otherwise) become so pragmatic that the weightier things are completely ignored? i havent followed this story so maybe im missing something... patheos/blogs/friendlyatheist/2014/01/02/to-the-pastor-giving-atheism-a-shot-for-a-year-youre-doing-it-wrong/
