so, im almost 22 and its my 4th year after matric. almost 5yrs since my last introspection, its long overdue… when i was 10-13yrs old, i planned to have my degree in medicine at 25. thats in 3 years. (though that changed.) when i was 15-18yrs old, i thought id have graduated and got my chemical engineering deegree, at 23. thats in a year. (that was only delayed, not changed but might not happen either!) lets see … instead, i got a certificate in Basic Islamic Studies, read the Quran (cover-to-cover) about 3-5times and i learnt Arabic. and i went through a whole lotta crap and phases. yeah! currently, i feel idle and useless. weakening, contrary to the standard me i know! then i remember my grandmothers words to my cousin, on her last day: my child, whatever happens tomorrow, go to work. you hear? go to work! its like she knew she was gonna pass away, and my cousin was actually going for an interview. its like she knew that shed get the job, too! ja neh… soooooo, yeah … i learnt not to give and not to let setbcaks hold me back, no matter how big! …and i learnt patience, and perseverance. most importantly. yeah! but, life goes on. we rock on!
