so in the future, one can imagine that the price of ones flat / home will be influenced by the amount of solar irradiation it receives, and its potential for translation into power. prices may fall because of the construction of a large building next to you which would cast shadows. In environment impact studies, shadowing would be a more important consideration. Large buildings may also be compelled to donate part of their solar harvest (and be compelled to install on panels), because of how theyve hogged sunlight.
