so ive been writing & writing about story & hard places & missing people & adoptive parents & adoptees & healing & hope. finally. not in a neat, poetic way, but just some thoughts on some questions so many parents ask me. all the time. i feel a nudge to share it with you. but theres vulnerability in that. like, i keep wondering if youre up for it. so i guess im needing a little thumbs up (or down) & encouragement & commitment from you all - that youll read it with openness. thats all i ask. you dont have to like it or love it or even agree with me. thats OK. thats what we get to do on this journey - read & then receive what were able. because were open to learning & listening & allowing the spirit to move in his own way for each person. but still, its vulnerable. im praying that it will be helpful - to the parent, to the adopted person. its only my one voice & my one experience, but i so believe that we need one anothers stories. all of it. not just the broken. not just the beautiful. all of it. so, are you ready? for a little blog series on adoption topics? eeeeek!!!!
